Arya’s Vivek acquaintance with yoga happened at a very young age because of his father Sri Vivek’s influence and motivation. For fifteen years he has lived and followed the ashram life but his hunger to learn Yoga and philosophy took him to the Himalayas. The sages noticed his passion and zeal in him and taught him secret mysteries which are still unknown to the people. He also gained knowledge in Naturopathy, Acupressure, Pranic healing and learned the philosophies of Buddhism, Jainism, and Sufism, on body Anatomy and Physiology. He is currently doing PH.D in Yoga. Besides being a teacher his spark for learning continues. The selflessness and desire to continue learning made him one of the best teachers that students adore.
Maya-ji’s journey through yoga began a decade ago with a fascination of meditation, mantras, and finding modern ways to practice the teachings of ancient Indian philosophy. That fascination inevitably led to practicing the physical asanas of yoga, with a specific focus on the styles of Hatha and Kriya yoga. After travelling throughout India to deepen her spiritual practice, Maya-ji landed in Rishikesh to complete her Yoga Teacher Training, which she has used to help students connect with the holistic source of yoga. In addition to meditation and yoga nidra, Maya-ji is Shakti’s in-house translator for Russian students.
Karamjit was born into yoga. His ancestors built a monastery for wandering monks and yogis to stay and practice yoga, and he was immersed in the teachings of yoga from childhood by his mother and father. Since then, his curiosity to go deeper has led him to Rishikesh, Mysore, the Himalayas, and even China, and he was determined to absorb the spiritual truth from each of these stages of life. Today, Yogi Karamjit is among the most respected practitioners of yoga and meditation, and he brings both intense willpower and a gentle touch to his teachings.
Pandey Ji’s journey on the path of yoga began at the tender age of 11, when he became a devotee of Guru Swami Veda Bharti Ji in the Rama Sadhaka Ashram. In his younger years, he was a decorated medal-winning asana champion, but as he grew older, Pandey Ji’s name become deeply respected amongst yogis for his unique approach to teaching Pranayama and Meditation. Today, he is pursuing his PhD in yoga, and taking an authentic and holistic approach to sharing his knowledge with aspiring yogis
Rahul Bhatt is a master practitioner of yoga, particularly skilled in asanas of Ashtanga. Through a combination of curiosity, talent, and tireless hard work, Yogi Rahul Bhatt has developed a deep understanding of the asanas, and a crystal-clear way of communicating difficult and nuanced postures to aspiring students. Rahul-ji believes in yoga as an ancient art based on a harmonizing system of developing the body, mind, and spirit, and seeks to help his students learn and grow in each of these areas.
Rahul Ji is a passionately committed teacher of Yoga, having diligently internalized all aspects of yogic knowledge. He studied at the Ashram of Swami Rama, strengthening his spiritual practice while comprehensively learning Yoga and meditation according to the Himalayan Tradition under the guidance of the renowned master Swami Veda Bharati. He went on to study in a Gurukulam (traditional spiritual school) where he became part of the Himalayan Yoga Tradition of teachers.
